Welcome to the Excelsior Juggling Convention!
We're a juggling festival taking place in New York City May 22nd to the 24th. Come down and juggle with us down just a few minutes away from the world trade center. We're open to jugglers of all levels, whether or not you even juggled before. We have a place to teach. We'll have workshops, games, and overall, just provide a place for people to come together, have good times and share some funky skills.
The Excelsior Juggling Cabaret, our premiere juggling show, will be Saturday, May 22nd starting at 6:00pm. The Cabaret will be the presentation of the juggling musical, "Throw For Your Life!", as well as a select variety of circus arts performances.
If you're in town on Thursday, we will also be having an Open Stage and Juggle-In at the Gertrude Ederle Recreation Center in Hell's Kitchen, which will be FREE! 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
Venue
Both the Festival and the Show will be taking place at the BMCC Gymnasium, 100 N. Moore Street, New York, NY 10013.
*The Venue is NOT BMCC itself, so don't go to the main BMCC entrance. If you see a giant statue of Icarus, you're on the WRONG SIDE!
Please be aware that there will be magnetometers security at the entrance (i.e. Metal Detectors) you will pass through. Juggling props will be allowed, of course.
Also, no food or drink other than water will be allowed inside of the venue, though you are allowed to step in and out of the gym if you wish.
